Work all day in the AI Agent's chat, several conversations at once, and talk to it

The Chat view runs several conversations at once with a compact composer, slash commands, and dictation, tasks gain a duplicate check and a cleaner head, and every plugin setting is now one command away for you and your agent.

New

  • Several conversations at once

    Each conversation runs its own agent and keeps going when you leave it, and its title switches between them, showing which is working, done, or waiting for you. AI Agent →

  • Talk to the chat

    Press the microphone or ⇧⌘D and talk; Whisper writes it down on your machine, Enter puts it in the composer and Esc cancels. Turn on Tidy with AI to have it cleaned up first. AI Agent →

  • Slash commands, yours too

    /new, /clear, /rename, /check, /explain, /done, /task, and /decide are in the composer, and you add your own on the AI Agent settings page, shared or local. AI Agent →

  • Check a task for duplicates

    A task not yet started offers Check for duplicates with AI; link what it finds as a duplicate or related, or mark it not a duplicate, and the result is kept for next time. Backlog →

  • Send Feedback

    From the palette, the desktop app's Help menu, or eidos feedback, send a bug report or a request with your version and OS and nothing from your root. Commands →

Improved

  • A chat you can work in

    The controls sit in one compact row, an @-mention or a dragged tab becomes a chip, ids in replies are links, Up and Down walk the messages you sent, and Ctrl or ⌘ with + and - zoom the chat alone.

  • Every setting from the shell

    Anything a plugin's settings page changes is one configure: command away, and AI Agent settings offers Allow eidos commands so the agent works in the root without prompts. Decisions →

  • Cleaner tasks

    A task's head reads Parent / Child, a subtask's ⋯ takes it out or deletes it, create modals set properties in two columns, a section's meaning sits behind a ?, and New task opens wherever you are.

  • Comments are open or closed

    Resolve is now Close and the Unresolved view is Open; eidos comments close takes over from resolve, which keeps working. Comments →

  • New blueprints start clean

    A new blueprint no longer copies its template's italic prompts; the reader shows each behind a ? beside its heading. Templates →

Fixed

  • Settings hold still

    A switch no longer flips back while it saves, what the agent changes shows on the open page at once, and Framework Settings shows its sidebar when you open it again.

Known limitations

the first dictation downloads the speech model once (about 175 MB with a GPU, 105 MB without), and dictation in the desktop app is tried on macOS only so far.
